Upcoming AuditionCurrent Cast List

Procedures for Production Team

Stage Managers and Assistant Directors must apply to the Director prior to a show’s audition. You must submit a letter of intent indicating your experience, level of commitment and your schedule as well as why you believe you would be a good candidate for the position.

All Auditions will be in the West High Auditorium unless otherwise indicated

Procedures for Actors

Most auditions will be Cold Readings. On some occasions you may be asked to come prepared with a 1 minute monologue for Regular Auditions or a 1 minute monologue and a piece of music for Musical Auditions. Special shows may require your audition piece to be from a specific style or period.

  • *All auditioners and technicians will be asked to fill out an audition form which can be found online. It is very important to list any specific conflicts you will have with the rehearsal process. Your conflicts may affect the part that you get.
  • *You will likely be asked to perform some kind of movement exercise, particularly if auditioning for a musical or show containing stage combat.
  • *On rare occasions, especially for Musicals, there may be a call back day. Please make contact with the Director or Stage Manager to get this information or watch for additional communication.
  • Please remember that the auditioning process is difficult for everyone. You are expected to be courteous and respectful of all auditioners, crew and staff. Also, the number of times you are asked to read is no indicator of whether you get a part or not. Just do the best job you can.
