Ride The Cyclone (high school edition)
September 24-27, 2025
book, music, & lyrics by Jacob Richmond & Brooke Maxwell

In this hilarious and outlandish story, the lives of six teenagers from a Canadian chamber choir are cut short in a freak accident aboard a roller coaster. When they awake in limbo, a mechanical fortune teller invites each to tell a story to win a prize like no other — the chance to return to life. This popular musical is a funny, moving look at what makes a life well-lived!

Broadway Licensing’s author-approved High School Editions are carefully curated to be made suitable for teenage actors and family audiences. These versions soften offensive language and sexual content while maintaining the integrity of the show and preserving the authors’ intent.

“Ingeniously dark and funny.” —Washington Post.

“A wonderful, touching and memorable roller coaster ride of a theatrical experience, for teen and adult audiences alike. With the show’s supernatural atmosphere…this is, quite simply, a beautiful “Dream of Life” come true.” —Chicago Theatre Review.

“Both eerie and funny, as well as subversive, serious, touching, and great.” —Vulture.

No intermission. Approx. 90 Minutes. Appropriate for all ages.
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night @ 7pm.

LITTLE SHOP OF HORROR
February 11-14, 2026. Live at the West High Auditorium
Book & Lyrics by Howard Ashman | Music by Alan Menken
Based on the Film by Roger Corman | Screenplay by Charles Griffith

A deviously delicious Broadway and Hollywood sci-fi smash musical, Little Shop Of Horrors has devoured the hearts of theatre goers for over 30 years. The musical is loosely based on Roger Corman’s low-budget 1960 black comedy film The Little Shop of Horrors. Howard Ashman and Alan Menken (Disney’s The Little MermaidBeauty And The Beast, and Aladdin) are the creative geniuses behind what has become one of the most popular shows in the world!

Meek floral assistant Seymour Krelborn stumbles across a new breed of plant he names “Audrey II” – after his coworker crush. This foul-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivore promises unending fame and fortune to the down and out Krelborn as long as he keeps feeding it, BLOOD. Over time, though, Seymour discovers Audrey II’s out of this world origins and intent towards global domination!

Rated PG-13 for a little murder, some innuendo, and rude language. If you’d show your kid the 1986 movie, they would enjoy this stage production of the musical.

Little Shop of Horror is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI).
All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI. http://www.mtishows.com
